Developing Trails / Multi-Use Path System
A DNR grant helped complete a path system north of the railroad track and the Town participated in a public/private partnership to complete the Tri-County Connector to provide a safe connection between residents of McCordsville to the Geist Lake Area. We are now participating with the incorporated cities and towns, as well as Hancock County to prepare a Hancock county trails plan. The Town also recently adopted a Bike/Ped Plan, which will help forge connections between McCordsville and neighboring communities.
